Luckily, before Lee had to buckle down and study study study, we were both able to visit with his family in Louisiana and Texas.

Seeing Lee’s grandparents, father, brother, sister-in-law, and two nieces in North Louisiana couldn’t have been better! We indulged in the most delicious home grown & made breakfast, splashed poolside, shared more garden spoils, and enjoyed great company.

And of course, Texas proved to be an adventure as well! From good talks and games with Lee’s mom and stepdad to feeding the chickens and collecting their eggs, playing with the goats + donkeys, and friendly horse “races” (one of Jelly Roll’s favorite activities!) we had a Texas-sized bundle of fun!
